Paulina Rubio Dosamantes (born June 17, 1971) is a nominated Grammy and Latin Grammy and 6 time winner of Billboard Latin Music Awards Mexican singer and actress. Known as "The Golden Girl" and "Queen of Latin Pop". Paulina achieved international stardom with her fifth studio album, Paulina (2000), and has sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
Her albums have garnered double gold and double platinum status in the U.S., triple platinum and diamond in Mexico, and platinum in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
English-speakers recognize her from her 2002 single "Don't Say Goodbye (Si Tu Te Vas). Causa y Efecto, the first single from her most recent album Gran City Pop, reached the #1 spot on radio in many Latin American countries, as well as the U.S. and Spain. It reached #1 on U.S. Billboard's "Hot Latin Tracks". "Causa y Efecto"is Paulina's first number one single in the Billboard Hot Latin Songs since Ni Una Sola Palabra in 2006.

Paulina Rubio Amadrina a Jenni Rivera

La exitosa cantante Jenni Rivera escogia a Paulina Rubio y su marido Nicolas Vallejo-Najero "Colate" como padrinos de anillos en su proxima boda que se celebrara en la ciudad de Mazatlan, Mexico con el beisbolista Esteban Loaiza. Fuentes cercanas a la cantante comentaron que hasta el momento han sido los unicos padrinos para el enlace matrimonial, ya que despues de que Jenni colaborara con la version banda Ni Rosas Ni Juguetes surgio una gran amistad entre las dos cantantes.
